More Ways to Give

Every gift makes a difference—discover the way that works best for you.

Flexible Options,
Lasting Impact

Your generosity can take many forms. In addition to making a one-time or recurring donation, you can support our work through planned giving, in-kind gifts, stock or IRA contributions, or hosting a giving event. These options allow you to give in a way that fits your financial goals and strengthens our work in deeper and more sustainable ways.

Faith Group & Congregational Giving

As a faith group, congregation, or organizational entity, you can become a VICPP donor. Every group is unique, with different levels of capacity. While the majority of our faith group donors give on an annual basis, your giving can be tailored to align with your organization’s giving season.

To share more about your giving style and to learn about congregational partnership, please book a meeting with our Director of Faith Organizing.

Host a Fundraiser

Whether as a faith group or an individual, you can host a fundraiser to support VICPP—most often in the form of a house party. These gatherings bring together friends, family, neighbors, and community members to learn about our priority areas, connect with our Executive Director or special guests, and explore ways to take action. As a host, you’ll also have the chance to share your own story while helping raise awareness and support for VICPP’s programs.

Sustainer’s Club

VICPP’s Sustainer’s Club is a community of advocates who give $1,000 or more annually to support our mission. Members receive impact reports and updates that show how their generosity helps engage people of faith and goodwill in advancing racial, social, and economic justice in Virginia’s policies and practices. Each year, we also celebrate with a special Sustainer’s Club appreciation event—check our Events Calendar for details.

Director’s Legacy Fund

In honor of Kim Bobo, our recently retired Co-Executive Director, and her nearly decade of service, we have created a Legacy Fund to ensure sustainability, future growth, and innovation. Learn more and add your donation to the fund today!

Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a flexible and tax-advantageous way to support nonprofits you care about, including VICPP.

To get started, speak with your financial advisor or stock broker, and use VICPP’s tax identification number: 54-1362857. DAFs can be set up through your financial institution or a community foundation to make giving simple and impactful.

Planned & Legacy Giving

Planned and legacy giving allows you to extend your commitment to social justice beyond your lifetime by including VICPP in your estate plans. You can name VICPP as a beneficiary of an IRA, life insurance policy, bank account, or pension, or simply include a gift in your will—whether a specific amount or a percentage of your estate.

If you decide to include VICPP, we would love to know your plans (confidentially or publicly) so we can honor your generosity and inspire others.

Cryptocurrency, Stocks, and More!

There are so many ways to support VICPP—and we want to make it simple for you. Donating stock is one great option that may allow you to avoid capital gains taxes while receiving a tax deduction. To get started, ask your brokerage firm for a transfer form or letter of instruction and request VICPP’s brokerage account information. You can also give through cryptocurrency, IRAs, or other assets.

If you’d like to explore these or other options, we’re always here to help. For any specialized gifts, we recommend consulting your financial advisor to find what works best for you.

Event Sponsorship

We host a variety of events each year and welcome sponsorships. Our signature gathering, Day for All People, is the highlight of our calendar, but there are many opportunities to get involved.

In-Kind Donations

We are always looking for affordable ways to maintain our historic building and make our office space more sustainable. VICPP welcomes in-kind gifts for our office, events (such as venue space or catering), and transportation needs across the Commonwealth. To donate an in-kind gift, please complete our in-kind form and email it to the address listed below.
