Richmond, Virginia – The Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy in partnership with Virginia Interfaith Power & Light are asking for media to be present on January 21st, 2026, for their flagship advocacy day, Day for All People 2026. More than 400 people from churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, universities, and organizations across Virginia will travel to Richmond to make their voices heard.
VICPP and VAIPL are supporting legislation, including: paid sick days for workers, criminal justice reform, affordable housing, environmental justice, energy efficiency standards, flood resilience, and health equity.
The day begins with expert briefings on key legislation that VICPP and VAIPL are supporting, followed by participants meeting with their Delegates and Senators to advocate for specific bills.
