2026 is an important year for Virginia elections! We are asking congregations, mosques, temples, and other faith communities to commit to having 100% voting participation in the electoral process.

SIGN THE PLEDGE HERE. Share this with your congregation or community leadership and submit a hard copy or email it.

What is the commitment? As a 100% voting congregation/community, you commit to:

  • Develop a plan, in collaboration with VICPP, to ensure eligible members of the congregation/community are registered to vote, either in writing or electronically through VICPP.
  • Distribute voting information about polling locations and dates through congregational/community bulletins, newsletters, and bulletin boards.
  • Promote the sacred privilege of voting through sermons, prayers, and litanies.
  • Learn about your local candidates.
  • Participate in community-wide efforts to register voters and get people to the polls.
  • Engage those who are not eligible to vote to participate in civic life.

Ready to sign your faith community up? SIGN THE PLEDGE HERE

When you fill out the pledge, you will receive:

  • A FREE 100% voting banner to display inside or outside your congregation/community.
  • A toolkit that includes preaching support, sample bulletin announcements, and information on registering people to vote.
  • Membership in a Facebook group of 100% voting faith communities.
  • Resources for your congregation/community website or social media the commitment .

Once you’ve committed to being a 100% voting congregation/community, we will email you the 2026 toolkit.
