2026 is an important year for Virginia elections! We are asking congregations, mosques, temples, and other faith communities to commit to having 100% voting participation in the electoral process.
SIGN THE PLEDGE HERE. Share this with your congregation or community leadership and submit a hard copy or email it.
What is the commitment? As a 100% voting congregation/community, you commit to:
- Develop a plan, in collaboration with VICPP, to ensure eligible members of the congregation/community are registered to vote, either in writing or electronically through VICPP.
- Distribute voting information about polling locations and dates through congregational/community bulletins, newsletters, and bulletin boards.
- Promote the sacred privilege of voting through sermons, prayers, and litanies.
- Learn about your local candidates.
- Participate in community-wide efforts to register voters and get people to the polls.
- Engage those who are not eligible to vote to participate in civic life.

When you fill out the pledge, you will receive:
- A FREE 100% voting banner to display inside or outside your congregation/community.
- A toolkit that includes preaching support, sample bulletin announcements, and information on registering people to vote.
- Membership in a Facebook group of 100% voting faith communities.
- Resources for your congregation/community website or social media the commitment .
Once you’ve committed to being a 100% voting congregation/community, we will email you the 2026 toolkit.
