Over the summer of 2025, the Virginia Interfaith Center is organizing “Interfaith Justice Revival” events in collaboration with the Virginia Poverty Law Center and the Virginia State Conference of the NAACP.

Taking inspiration from old-school religious gatherings, we hope to motivate action toward making the world a better place for all. VICPP is partnering with local leaders to build relationships and create a welcoming space. We are excited to speak about the integral tie between faith and justice. Faith and community leaders from different traditions will share reflections on justice, and the importance of civic engagement in anticipation of the November election.

We would be delighted to have you partner with us! Please contact VICPP’s Director of Faith Organizing, Sheila Herlihy Hennessee, if you’d like to get involved or have any questions.

Interfaith Justice Revival
Our faith means we are called to care for our neighbors, both on the individual and structural levels. You are invited to join religious and lay leaders from around our community and learn how beloved community leads us to the work of justice, inspired by faith. We will gather at [location] on [date]. The Revival will start with a potluck at 5:30, and continue with music, prayer, calls to action, and opportunities to build relationships. All are welcome! This event is presented in partnership with VICPP, VPLC, and the state NAACP. More details at tinyurl.com/InterfaithJusticeRevival.
