About Us
The James River Chapter is guided by these words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love.”
It is the commitment of the James River Chapter [JRC] to harness the power of love to create policies and legislation in Virginia. We believe ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they have a passion for justice.
The James River Chapter invites all people of faiths and goodwill, living in the James City County, West Point, Williamsburg, Gloucester, Newport News, Suffolk and Hampton (west side of the HRBT) areas, to join us in our quest to ensure our legislators use the power of love to implement policies of justice.
