This Sunday afternoon from 2-6 p.m. at Strangeways Brewing, 2277 Dabney Rd, Richmond, 23230, RVA Huddle, a grassroots group, is sponsoring a fundraising event to benefit VICPP’s Central Virginia Sanctuary Network project. There will be a band, a raffle, with noteworthy speakers discussing immigrant justice and related issues. State Senator Jennifer McClellan, Delegate Jeff Bourne, Eileen Bedell (candidate, Congress, 7th District), Francis Stevens (candidate, House of Delegates, District 65), Melissa Dart (candidate, House of Delegates, District 56), and Schuyler VanValkenburg (candidate, House of Delegates, District 72). Republican, Democratic and Independent candidates have been invited to speak.

Food Trucks will include Return of the Mac, Hollywood Cheesesteaks, Grapevine, Continental Divide, PoorBoys Burgers, and Area 51. Raffle items include gift cards from Pasture, Comfort, Moore Street Cafe, Sumo San, Saison, Saison Market, Strawberry Fields and Finds, Bravo Music Academy and Peak Experiences. Raffle tickets are $1 or 6/$5, and you do not have to be present to win.
