Day for All People is our annual Advocacy Day where we bring together people of faith and goodwill from across Virginia. In 2024, we will be back in-person for inspirational presentations, informative workshops, and effective advocacy on Wednesday, January 17. If you are unable to attend in-person, there will be a virtual option to participate in the plenary sessions. All are invited to join with other motivated Virginians to make your voices heard on economic, racial, and social justice issues. You will learn about our priority policy issues from dynamic speakers and workshops, meet with your state legislators, and engage with advocates in your region.

Legislative Overview
On Wednesday, January 17, we will have in-person legislative visits (as well as workshops and plenaries). You will have the opportunity to participate in two legislative visits: one with your State Senator and one with your State Delegate. You will be trained on how to hold a legislative visit, and get to share your thoughts on issues like living minimum wages, expanding access to paid sick days, increasing funding for affordable housing, and requiring unconscious bias training for medical professionals.
